Q. How qualified are the tutors?

A. Our tutors are well-qualified in the field they teach. All of them have current or a past teaching experience. Each one has either a Master's degree and/or advanced teaching credentials. Most of our tutors are current or former teachers.

Q. Where are the tutors based?

A. Internet is a great communication mechanism. It eliminates the need for two interacting people to be at the same place at the same time. We find the best teachers all over the world who can provide tutoring at affordable rates.

Q. Is the tutors’ language/accent an issue?

A. All our teaching (except languages, of course) is in English. The accents of the tutor and the student can be different. However, in our experience we have found that students and teachers get used to each other's accent in a single session. As much as possible, the same tutor is assigned to the same student, reducing any accent issues. If however, you believe that accent is getting in the way, please discuss it with your assigned counselor.

Q. What kind of training do the tutors go through?

A. In addition to training in our technology and processes, the tutors go through extensive instruction on teaching on-line. They go through many mock sessions before they are ready for tutoring students.
